Such heart conditions are typically discovered using a traditional medical Holter monitor device which is either expensive or hard to access, and not quite as comfortable as the simple Polar H10. We built Machine Learning-based ECG signal processing models. The results are outstanding, as we are able to detect Atrial Fibrillation anomalies, among other pathologies, with a single-lead 130 Hz device, while this is traditionally detected with a multiple-lead minimum 250 Hz device like the medical Holter monitor. Our team has also advised the client and supported its Class 2A device certification according to the EU regulation. This successfully obtained certification unlocks access to a broader customer base, enabling early detection and prevention of heart-related medical conditions.

MORE-Darzalas Foundation

MORE-Darzalas Foundation is a non-profit institution established in June 2015 in Varna.

The first part of the foundation´s name is an abbreviation: multidisciplinary oncological conversations and extracts. It refers to the main goal of the foundation: to improve the mindset, methodology and practice in the field of Bulgarian clinical oncology. The second part of its name is the ancient Thracian god Darzalas, considered the patron saint of the ancient city of Odessos, today’s Varna. The Indo-European root ther – brave is inserted in its name and the Old Bulgarian language has carried it through the centuries in the verb daring – I dare. This symbolism refers to the annual nominations with which the foundation selects individuals and presents the Wreath of Courage Award – for contribution to Bulgarian clinical oncology.

MORE-Darzalas Foundation functions as a non-governmental oncology project designed to work in areas with the most sensitive dysfunction of official state institutions. Without claiming alternative activities, the foundation rehabilitates most of the institutional inertia in national oncology.

Bulgarian Medical Association

The Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) is the professional association of doctors in Bulgaria. The legalization of BMA as a separate legal organization took place after the adoption of the Law on Professional Organizations of Doctors and Doctors of Dental Medicine in 1999. According to the law, professional organizations of doctors and dentists – the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) and the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA) are established, their arrangements, their organization and their activities, the conditions for exercising the medical and dental profession and the responsibility for violation of professional ethics are regulated. It is assumed by law that all doctors who practice their profession must be members of the BMA.

The doctors’ organization is actively involved in the health-political processes in the country, is responsible for drafting a Code of professional ethics for doctors, exercises control over their observance, elaborates the Rules for Good Medical Practice and is a party to the negotiation of the financial and operational practs of the medical profession through the signing of an annual National Framework Contract.
