The Digital Health and Innovation Cluster BULGARIA is pleased to invite you to attend the Digital Event– from TREATMENT to HEALTHcare through DIGITALIZATION. It will take place on the 26th of September at 10:00 a.m. in the National Palace of Culture, AZARYAN Theatre.

The Forum is organized by the Digital Health and Innovation Cluster BULGARIA under the patronage of the Ambassador of Switzerland in Bulgaria H.E. Muriel Berset Kohen. The Forum is part of the INNOVATION 4 HEALTH week organized by the Embassy of Switzerland and the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC).

This one-day forum will gather entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders in digital health from Bulgaria. It will show the progress in developing an ecosystem in healthcare that is open for private entrepreneurs and organizations. A healthy lifestyle is part of a prevention health policy. When it comes to curing people, patients should have access to the best of innovation.

Digital health solutions in different areas like care system management, big data and analytics, teleHealth and mHealth, diagnostics, medication management, cyber security, population health and practice management will be presented at the forum.

We are working together to create a data-driven healthcare and boost sustainability and efficiency in the system!

Prior to his presidency, he was the manager of the hospital “Palmed” in Plovdiv and the chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Hospital Association. From 2013 to 2014 he was the director of the Regional Health Insurance Fund Plovdiv. From 2008 to 2013 he was the manager of the hospital “Parvomay” EOOD. From 1994 to 2008 he was a resident at the Department of ENT Diseases at the Plovdiv Hospital. Dr. Ivan Madjarov graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv. Dr. Stanimir Hasurdjiev is one of the founders and current Chairperson of the Bulgarian National Patients’ Organization (NPO) - the biggest patients’ umbrella organization in Bulgaria. Dr. Hasurdjiev has devoted himself to patients’ advocacy and defence of patients’ rights. As of May 2013, Dr. Hasurdjiev is a board member of the European Patients’ Forum as well as a member of several other regional and international organisations and networks. He is one of the initiators and founding members of the joint initiative of the European Patients’ Forum and the Bulgarian National Patients’ Organisation - the Patient Access Partnership - a multi stakeholder platform for finding innovative solutions to reduce inequities in access to healthcare in Europe. Dr. Hasurdjiev serves as a Secretary of the National "Health Partnership" which was officially launched in March 2015 as a permanent consultative body to the Bulgarian Council of Ministers.

He completed post-graduate medical course in echo stress testing and intravascular echocardiography in Wiesbaden, Germany and in 1999-2000 he was awarded a fellowship to specialize in invasive cardiology and radiology in the Institute of Cardiology and Cardio-Vascular Surgery sponsored by the Favaloro Foundation in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
