On 25 November MY Synergy held a virtual event on the topic – digital transformation process and digital health. During the event was organized a valuable discussion with main experts in the healthcare field from different industries – Ruthy Kaidar – Director Health Industry Sector, Central & Eastern Europe and Kalin Dimchev – Country Manager Microsoft Bulgaria & Regional Country Manager Lead, Mira Ganova, CEO at Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria, Dr. Rosen Dimitrov, Public Affairs at Novartis Bulgaria and Alex Alexiev, founder and CEO of SAT Health, a vibrant, fast-paced and exciting digital healthcare company.
The speakers shared their vision on the current healthcare situation in Bulgaria and Europe and pointed the need for holistic approach for digital transformation in the healthcare sector. They all clarified how this transformation can improve healthcare systems through digital solutions and proper usage of data. According to the experts in the healthcare industry, the right way to start the digital transformation process is to find needed synergy that brings positive outcomes to patients, healthcare professionals, and society.
The discussion stated with brief presentation of MY Synergy and why they value digital health and care. MY Synergy is a subject matter expert in healthcare. As a company they are delivering in-depth digital solutions to the many complex challenges facing the health industry.
Yordan Iliev, CEO of MY Synergy shared a decent example of excellent data usage – what do air flights and healthcare have in common – safety and correct data usage.
Ruthy Kaidar – Director Health Industry Sector, Central & Eastern Europe and Kalin Dimchev – Country Manager Microsoft Bulgaria & Regional Country Manager Lead shared Microsoft’s vision about the development of healthcare and digital technologies to support the digital transformation process in all levels.
One of Ruthy’s key messages was: Access to quality healthcare service brings positive Outcomes to patients, healthcare professionals, and society.
Kalin shared his insights about a mutual developed digital patient-centric platform of MY Synergy and Microsoft – MY Care PSP. Collaboration with a company like Microsoft, operating in many markets, allows different companies working with patient support programs to use a single platform that enables data aggregation. From a technological point of view, MY Care PSP, created on PowerApps, is a product made and standardized so it can be launched in different countries and meet the needs of diverse markets – one product, many markets. It has fast roll-out & ROI since the enterprise-grade application was live in less than three months.
Mira Ganova, CEO at Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria, explained what an ecosystem is and why it is critical for the specific case of healthcare. The collaboration in ecosystems reduces the path to creating a digital solution, which can adequately respond to the patient’s and the healthcare needs thanks to the expertise and the specific knowledge of all participants in the organization. She pointed a great example of the successful partnership approach – the great work between MY Synergy, Microsoft and SAT Health, as the three companies are members of Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria.
Dr. Rosen Dimitrov delivered a conclusion upon the needs and pain points of the pharma market. He also explained what pharmaceutical companies are looking for; why MY Care PSP meets every requirement – security, compliance, and interoperability.
Mladen Georgiev, CTO of MY Synergy, made a live demonstration of MY Care PSP. He showed the most critical use-cases of the system – enabling Patient Support Programs, activating Patient Pathways. Additionally, Mladen explained the use of the HL7 FHIR Data Standard.
In the final moments of the round table discussion Alexander Alexiev, CEO of SAT Health revealed the secret to the success of the mutual developed digital solution – MY Care PSP and gave useful insights regarding the healthcare needs and haw the huge volume of data can be arranged in a way to support the effective decision making, optimize the healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes.
